"Paul from Wilderness Solutions came to talk to Exeter Chiefs RFC and explained that there is no

coincidence between excellent preparation and eventual success. His sessions showed that team

momentum, a focus on task dynamics and adaptive leadership were all elements that correlate

with success on the sporting field."

Dean Mumm, former team captain for Exeter Chiefs RFC and Australian international

In high-tempo and often stressful environments many teams lack the essential game

winning DNA and focus that achieves and sustains high-performance. The undisputed

formula for mission success, be it in the business, sporting or military environment,

is a great team culture, robust working processes and inspiring leadership.

Wilderness Solutions believes in coaching teams and leaders in such a way that

success can be achieved in even the harshest of climates.

We specialise in fresh-air, off-site development days and programmes, where we offer

hands-on, experiential learning enhanced by relevant theoretical insight and reflective

practice. We adopt a coaching approach– encouraging you and your team to develop

a deeper awareness and build the confidence to change.

AWP Throw out any pre-conceived ideas you have about corporate team building. A weekend with Wilderness Solutions is fun and informative as well as challenging and thought-provoking. As a team that already worked relatively well together we were amazed at how much we learnt about ourselves and each other. The atmosphere in the office is transformed and we are continuing to use many of the tools we learnt on the weekend.

Somerset County Cricket Club Paul Mattin and The Wilderness Solutions team got Somerset County Cricket Club off to an action-packed start to the new season. We took part in an extraordinary team development weekend, where we lived off the land, camped under the stars, tackled numerous challenges and trials... and learnt a few new tricks! We came away a tighter team - with an improved understanding of how we all 'tick' - and with a fresh focus on how we might get the job done when we're up against the odds. Inspiring, effective and fun; a cracking springboard into the season.

Alder King, South West Paul and his Wilderness-team delivered a unique approach to a series of team building challenges which allowed a wide range of age and physical dexterity levels to participate and contribute without fear or embarrassment. The undoubted expertise and specialist skills of his team were delivered with enthusiasm and humour, yet with glimpses of steely determination obviously developed over many years. Pauls personal abilities to motivate by sharing experiences of some very challenging situations was truly inspirational.
